sometimes my mind takes off...

Sometimes...an idea comes to me and then, it takes off with my mind..
like a helium balloon!

I can spend hours just day dreaming...one thought leads to another...
and ANOTHER and...well...

I can hear a small voice from way far off calling,

"Earth to annie...come....baaaaack"

I need to put some weight in my shoes!
I thought there should be plenty of weight in meee bum...
but, I guess fat doesn't count when you are needing
to stay on task..

SIGH....

Annie, I am so glad to hear that I am not the only person with this problem. And I can definitely verify, having a fat bum does NOT help!! My mind has been having this surge of ideas which I can't possibly keep up with...especially when family members expect to be fed and have clean underwear.

LOL! You certainly aren't the only one that has that problem. I can read several pages in a book and realize I don't know what happened on those pages because my mind was off somewhere else - my eyes were reading but the mind wasn't cooperating :D

I know what you mean. Since I am a mystery book fan I dream about me being the hero in a mystery novel. It creates hours of fun when driving or otherwise not occupied. Fortunately quilting has helped with the boredom issue and I don't star in so many B movies anymore.

LOL, come back Amy! I mean Annie. My daughter, Amy, has always been a mind wanderer too.
Maybe I need to learn to dream a little more. Sounds way more fun than all the tasks always clouding my brain!

Oh the thinks you can think.... I have the same problem. One think leads to another, which leads to another, and another.... I always tell people that children with A.D./H.D. eventually grow up and become - people like us!

Enjoyed visiting with you today. You always bring sunshine and laughter when you stop by (even in the sleet!)
