Book Giveaway...

Do you like children's picture books?
I know...I'm too old to read children's books...
but...well, I really like pictures...
When my children were young and now that
I have grandchildren, I can pretend to buy
picture books for them!
ANY-who...if you will go over
to my other blog
called

I Play With Fiber (click HERE)...
you will see
my post about a really cute book called
Sheep In A Jeep

The new blog will have posts and info
about spinning fiber, all different kinds of
fibers that you can spin...fiber prep, some knitting,
crochet, and a bit of weaving.
I will be doing giveaways, interviews, and some
tutorials...all with "fibers" in mind...
and, did I mention there will be giveaways?

So skip on over...even if you might just want
to stick with quilting/sewing.  You could win
a really cute Children's Picture Book...
and the first post about shearing sheep...
 a teeensy interesting?
Slim chance, you say?  well...maybe... =)

I love children's books. I had a huge library full of them even before my daughter was born, so imagine how big the library is now that she is two and a half!
thanks for the chance to win a lovely book!

Heading over to the fiber blog....

Now that I'm a grandma (and we're all about books), I am working on gabbiegirl's book collection. Even at seven months they read to her.

My favorites are Goodnight Moon, Cars and Trucks and Things That Go (love looking for goldbug!), Pat the Bunny, and the Beatrix Potter and AA Milne books.

Love your new blog! I still have all of my girls children's books packed away in boxes. I kept saying I was saving them for the grandkids but I think I've been saving them for me - lol!

One of my favorite children's books is "I'll Be There with Belzon." Cute, cute, cute! And what an interesting new blog. I'll have to refer a friend who looooves fiber!

I'm not that fussed on kids books... but you are right, some of the illustrations are gorgeous!
