Double your pleasure...double your fun!

Or, in other words...could be
DOUBLE TROUBLE!!

Two more sleeps...then, it's to the SLC
airport to fly to Portland, Oregon.
WHAZ there??? you say?
One thing
is
The Northwest Quilting Expo
the website is HERE
It's one of the bigger quilt shows in the
Northwest with more than 80 vendors...
and LOTS of QUILTS! and lots of
VENDORS! o...wait, did I already say
LOTS OF VENDORS?

#2 thing
is
the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival
the website for OFFF is HERE
This is a dream...
festival for fiber enthusiasts!
(say that several times really fast!)
There will be lots of animals, fibers,
and fiber-eee tools  toys.  Yep,
LOTS OF VENDORS...ooops, there.. I've said it
again!

So as things add up...you can see this 4 day trip
could be DOUBLE TROUBLE for me!
Yeah, and just to prove that I am already
expecting "trouble" to follow me home, I'm taking
an empty, large suitcase to check-in.  It sounds
wasteful, right?  But, I'm thinking that to ship
ALL of the STUFF home by regular postage,
THAT could be MORE wasteful.

I will try to (remember) take lots of pictures.
I'll post (after September 25th)the quilty ones here
and the fiber-eee ones over at my other blog
"i play with fiber"

....anything I should bring back for you?

  4. Have you considered taking a duffle bag that can be folded up going and stuffed coming back? That would save you about $40 that you could spend on more fabric! Have fun!

  6. Sounds like fun!
    Remember to
    a) make sure the batteries are charged and in your camera
    b) pack your camera
    c) have spare batteries and charger packed - check a second time if necessary
I don't know how many times I've been going somewhere and realised 1/2 an hour from home that the camera is still on the bench/bed/lounge/next to computer :(.
I'm sure we'd all like to belatedly enjoy your trip highlights by viewing the photos :D.
Maybe I just have a camera memory problem??
    Cheers,
    Robyn
