She was such a treasure to me, and I'm sure her influence is why I love "old" things and crafting...and cooking. :)
Thanks for sharing such meaningful words. We DO need to be sure we're using our creativity to bless others, rather than letting the ongoing JOBS of life keep us down!
Thank you thank you!April Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17742772422750681492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580314740488469031.post-77584363127656852742011-11-18T21:15:20.361-07:002011-11-18T21:15:20.361-07:00Sometimes I wish to sell my things, but that is on...Sometimes I wish to sell my things, but that is only to help out with the family needs. I keep going back and forth because I think that giving my creations away is so much better. It is hard when you find your items aren't loved though. That bursts your bubble. But then when you sell something it makes you feel better. It's kind of a vicious cycle that I am always unsettled on what to do!

On the other hand, thanks for giving me permission to create before I wash the dishes every once in a while!Miss Hillbillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13422851284570747539noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580314740488469031.post-61935125752607186532011-11-16T20:20:41.796-07:002011-11-16T20:20:41.796-07:00If my dust bunnies looked like that, my dogs (who ...If my dust bunnies looked like that, my dogs (who create the furry dust bunnies in my house) would be chasing them all over.Cheryl's Teapots2Quiltinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01005480747596617459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580314740488469031.post-68719554856643612642011-11-16T20:16:39.223-07:002011-11-16T20:16:39.223-07:00I love to made quilts for people I love and to don...I love to made quilts for people I love and to donate. And who is trying to scoop them up? Not me, for sure! House cleaning is almost always last on my list - much to my husband's chagrin sometimes - but he's learned to live with it! And fortunately with our church's quilt ministry, I can say that quilting is my full time job!

Thanks for an awesome post!!Sarah Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18393284767325742399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4580314740488469031.post-1964623803710749792011-11-16T17:57:45.630-07:002011-11-16T17:57:45.630-07:00Now this is just a great perspective. I hate putting it on the back shelf as it certainly helps keep me sane.
