I had a goal...a dream... it's FINISHED!!

Oh.. yes... I finished the top!
It's all thanks to YOU!!
It's blogging that held my feet..
to the FIRE...umm... maybe that's not
where the fire was...maybe it was under me!

I felt so lucky to find the border!
The Asian fabrics in the quilt are about
2 years old.  And, you know how
colors schemes in fabric change?  I was
having a hard time matching the lavenders,
creams, and greens...the new Asian fabric
colors were just a few shades different...
but...LUCKY...I was!

Now it's ready for IDA...
my Innova longarm...

Just a few days ago, the pieces looked a little
bit like a "sows ear"....
now...maybe it could be in contention for a...
"silk purse"?

Thank you again for all of your support in
helping me to get this done!!

You did well grasshopper - the border fabric looks like it was originally bought with the quilt - I think a great match as well as wonderful setting for the whole piece. We want to see went quilted and bound, too.

That border looks perfect for the quilt. I think it looks so good from where you started and how you weren't super excited about it. Good thing you finished the top!

Annie, that's awesome! Great for you :) The whole top looks really 'put together' no pun intended now with the border on there. Like the black sashing too. Great Job!!
