O! ...and it's addressed to me! I think I know..I think I know...
what it is.
It's my order from the Fat Quarter Shop!...Quick, quick, I need to get scissors to slice the tape.
I know, I'm not supposed to run with scissors. But, I can't help myself!
Nope, can't sit down to dinner...not even a potty break...I have to open
RIGHT NOW!
aaaah...it's the "Poseidon Colorstory"...solids from Kona Cotton that I ordered
earlier this week. I 've had some ideas dancing in my brain for a month or
more now. And, when I saw this color stack of fat quarters, they seemed
JUST the right colors!
Ideas...from...
You can go to Cherri's and Lizzy's (her daughter) blog

The following two photos are taken from her book. I hope they
won't mind me sharing these quilt pictures with you.
I also like the picture on the cover of this book

I can't decide which "way" to go.
Two of the quilts use black for sashing and/or the constant solid.
The other two use white/lights.
What should I do... light or dark? Which pattern? It might take me
a long while to mull this over. But, at least I have my base...the
Poseidon Colorstay solids.
I could use some "help"... I always LUV to "hear" what your thoughts are!

That is so funny - both of those books and their quilts have struck me with how dynamic they are in their simplicity!
I would choose the white . . . no - the black . . . but the white is so pure and fresh . . . then again, the black has the drama of an Amish quilt . . . ????
Aw, heck, you will have to choose on your own - I just can't decide!
Good luck and happy stripping!
Aren't they luscious? City Quilts is a great book and I wouldn't know which to chose either. Black or white - oh my - I love either way,but..... Good luck, I hope someone else has a better suggestion.
Ooo that book looks like my style of quilt!
Beautiful Annie! I love the simplicity of the quilts you showed. I'm loving all the more simple quilts that keep popping up all over the blogs I read. blessings, marlene
Those blues are beautiful. I just joined the solids club at Pink Chalk and got my first fat quarters. I kind of lean toward white but that is just me.
Those fabric is sooooooooo beautiful, I am really jealous. I have the same feeling when a package with fabric arrive in teh mail. I have to look and immediately!!!! Love the last and the first pattern, the middle one is too dark for me.
