A Lazy Daisy Trunk show...

There is a really cute Quilt (slash) Gift Store
in St George, Utah called...

I was in St George this last weekend for a
Dave's Bernina sew/quilt retreat.  Part of the
retreat was a dinner and trunk show
at the Pasta Factory...YUM!

The trunk show was presented by
Dana Brooks the owner of Lazy Daisy.
She shared her some of her life and her
beautiful quilts...several of them entirely hand-quilted
 Dana shared many adventures including...
her move from Sandy, Utah to St. George,
situations that motivated her to open her own
quilt store.  She talked about how her store
was featured in a Quilt Shop Hop
magazine, about her own quilt pattern designs
and now she is designing fabric for Henry Glass.

This is Dana's Granddaughter's first quilt...
(I'm jealous...of Dana's "ruby slippers"!)

If you ever visit St. George, Utah...
don't miss visiting the Lazy Daisy Cottage.
It's really a fun place to shop!

More tomorrow about partying sewing...
 in St George.

I notice she has a thing for houses in her quilts. The row quilt is my favorite. Gosh, I recognized the name with Henry Glass, now I have put the name with a face - and yes the shoes are the bomb!
