Are YOU going?

The Home Machine Quilt Show
in
SANDY, UTAH?

It's next week!  Thursday thru Saturday
May 10-12th

South Towne Exposition Center
9575 So. State Street
Salt Lake City, UT 84070

It's REALLY a VERY nice quilt show!!
It's one of theeee nicest ones that we have here in
UTAH.

There are lots of Long-armed machines to try out.
There are lots of fun tools and accessories for the
home machine quilter...whether you have a long arm or not.
And, of course, lots of fun patterns and fabric to touch
...and purchase...YIKES! SCAREEE!

Last year, the quilt exhibit...
had some the most beautiful, creative, fun and artistic quilts!
Gazing at these quilts...the work involved ...was "jaw-dropping".

A small group of us meet in the morning when the show opens.
We check out about half of the quilts and vendor booths.  Then,
we find a table to all sit and "nourish" our bodies while we chat
about what we've seen so far.  After a rest, we head out to conquer
the other half of the show.   And, hopefully, we don't totally

empty our wallets! =P

--If YOU would like to meet somewhere, shoot me an email?
We'll find you.  =)

A big part of any quilt show...for me, anyway...is
the friendship and chatter that fills my heart while
being immersed in Quilty "stuff".

What's YOUR favorite thing about quilt shows?
Do YOU have a favorite one that you like to go to
every year?  Or, one that you've been to that holds a
special place in your memories?

LUV to hear YOUR stories =)

I'm going! I've been signed up for months and very much looking forward to it. I have 4 classes, beginning on Wednesday. Would love to meet up?

Crazy that we have so many quilt shops and not a good show around here. Have fun!

I'm not going (living too far away!), but two of my favorite bloggers are, and now you, so that makes three! Have a great time emptying your wallet. =)

Oh, yes, favorite thing. I forgot. I think it's probably just enjoying things with a good friend or two. Either laughing at something, or wishing for something. One favorite is the Sisters, OR, show, and another one is PIQF in San Jose every fall.

I have signed up to take 2 classes at the show and I plan to visit all the booths. This is the first quilt show I have ever gone too excited to see what fun I can have.
