Cross Stitch anyone? And, Grand Illusions Mystery?

Wow...I think I'm related to Ol' Rip!  You know the "VanWinkle" guy?  I must've slept through October and most of November!  =P

In reality, I wasn't sleeping...just trying to keep my hobby-fingers in too many pies!  On the craft Merry-go-round!  Dabbling in some fun stuff, like making cards...copic markers, paper punches, dies, and other paper-ee things.  I've also been spending lots of hours working on a Judy Niemeyer quilt called Glacier Star.  I'll try to post some more of my crafty "crimes" in a later post.

First topic of the day:  (well, I guess it's more evening time).  I'd like to ask how many of you are cross stitchers?  If you are, do you know of Nora Corbett and her Mirabillia designs?  Do you stitch these kinds of designs?

I've dug myself a whole with Cross Stitch...not unusual for MY craft shenanigans.  Well, I...uh..have sorta bought a leeeetle too-too (is that an oxymoron??) many Mirabillia patterns.  Would anyone be interested in buying one or two (I have about a dozen or so) $5 plus shipping?  I also have some hand-dyed fabrics that I probably won't use either.  I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in any of these cross stitch fabrics?  I can post pictures.  But, I thought I would see if anyone might be interested first?  Comment and let me know?

Second topic:  Is anyone doing Bonnie Hunter's Mystery quilt "Grand Illusions"?  I've got the fabric and am downloading the directions. I am excited to start it.  But, you and *I* know that I've started a few lots of things in the past...and not completed them.  But, does that mean I shouldn't ever start another FUN crafty thing? Please, don't hold my feet fingers  to the fire on that one!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I'd love to hear about that too...if, you'd like to share =D

Love and HUGZ!

I have done some of the Cherubs and Angels and have yet to use the 'Maidens of the Seasons' - these are not beginner patterns. Our Thanksgiving was snowed out.

Welcome back! I'm not doing it, but I don't like mysteries. =) I'd love to see your fabric, and will watch your progress with interest, though! XS is not for me - it drives me crazy, though I know how to do it. I'd rather embroider.
